Is there anything in particular that you love to do?
Well, evidently, my passion is posing for pictures! Mommy reckons that that is the understatement of the year. ;) I love love snuggling under mommy's covers and nibbling on mommy's fingers. I love love love belly rubs, chasing birds and squirrels around the backyard, playing fetch with my unlimited collection of teddies, ice-cream, cherries and basking in the sun during summer, and for whatever reason, chomping on bugs, I find them crunchy. ;) Oh, and snoring, I can't help it. Every pug out there definitely knows what I'm talking about. ;)

Any dislikes?
Showers and skunks!!!

Favorite Treat?
Gnawing on Hearty Gnaw's beef muscle joints!! Loves it!!

Favorite dog park?
Mountain View Shoreline Dog Park. No doubts about it, but I do have concerns and am sometimes a little wary of bullies. They take away all the fun in the park.

Any adventures worth sharing?
Well well, this is the story of my life! Of how I became a California beach girl. ;) So, here goes.. I was with mommy since I was eight weeks old and was barely one, when mommy decided to move to the Bay Area for career opportunities. So mommy and I boarded the plane at JFK that flies directly to SFO. And I suppose mommy wanted to give me a breather and proceeded to unzip the pet carrier that I was in under her seat. Little did mommy know the mischief that I had up my sleeve! The next thing mommy heard was passengers in the front seats exclaiming: 'Oh my god! Is that a puppy!?' 'I think that is a puppy!' 'Is anyone missing a puppy?' Mommy was obviously startled and probably gasped in horror and had to search for me down the aisle before I am stomped on. ;) And thankfully, mommy found me and instead of lashing out at me, hugged my frail little body, kissed my forehead and whispered: "oh you naughty little girl", laughed and put me back into the carrier and this time, mommy zipped me up. A wise and kind woman, mommy. ;)

POB: Bay Area, CA

So, can you tell us a little about the story of your life?
Well, my past life is basically a patch of blur, but I do remember distinctively, being found in very poor shape wondering aimlessly along the streets of Redwood City and was fortunately picked up by Foundation Nine Lives, a no-kill policy kitty pound. And one day, a kind lady by the name of Linda Latham, bless her heart, took me under foster care and I was posted for adoption on Petfinder. And believe me you, I can honestly say that I did not really grasps the meaning of family until mommy adopted me and the rest is history. :)

Is there a story behind your name, Belle?
You mean besides the fact that I am 'adorabelle'? *wink* Well, Lindy's teenager named me Belle, after the princess of Zazu and the name stuck so mommy kept it. :)

Does your vet have any idea what your age is?
I frequent Adobe Animal Hospital in Los Altos and my #1 vet, Brian Maxwell claims that according to my dentals, I should be around 11 years young this year. :)

Any hobbies?
Begging for treats on both my hind legs, digging and howling in the backyard, lazing in the shade during summer, long walks on a leash, being petted and getting attention. ;)

Any dislikes?
Mommy brushing my teeth :( I have sensitive gums because of my old age.

Favorite food?
Mommy's home-cooked Hearty Gnaw special!! :) Mommy makes this delicious broiled meat with mashed carrots that is very easily consumed. No hard chewing involved so it is easy on my senior gums. :)

Favorite treat?
Dentastix Dental treats! I get doggy breath easily so mommy lets me gnaw on Dentastix so I can kiss her goodnight, every night. :)
