Prince Harry visits Canine Partners

Britain's royalty, Prince Harry, paid a visit to Canine Partners Training Center in Midhurst, Sussex, England, and oversaw training sessions for puppies new to the program.

Canine Partners is a registered charity that aims to assists people with even the most complex disabilities through the provision of specially trained dogs.

The 'Superdogs', as they are called, are trained by Canine Partners, who work alongside British charity Help For Heroes to provide support to veterans. To help with tasks ranging from opening and closing doors, picking up dropped items, pressing buttons for elevators to more difficult procedures such as doing laundry, using ATM machines and summoning help in case of an emergency.

2010 World Cup Octopus

Paul Allen, a two year old octopus born in England and living at Sea Life Aquarium in Oberhausen, Germany has a 6 on 6 prediction on all of Germany's matches in this year's World Cup, including Germany's loss to Serbia during the group phase, and a loss to Spain in the semifinals. Till now, Paul has only predicted in games involving Germany, so it is not clear whether his psychic powers are limited to games involving Germany or they also go beyond that.

Whatever said and done, Paul the octopus is the biggest winner and star of the 2010 FIFA World Cup! :)

**Update: Paul maintained a 100% accuracy on his 2010 World Cup prediction with Spain's victory over Netherlands! ;)

Dreams For Dogs CD

According to Teikyo Uniersity of Science Department of Animal Science's research, the most effective combination to relaxing dogs is to have them listen to classical music with a twist! The music is defined as classical music infused with ambient noise (human conversations, yipping dogs, crowing birdsetc).

Researches have joined forces with Hats Unlimited to develop a full music CD called Dreams for Dogs for $26(USD).
