According to Teikyo Uniersity of Science Department of Animal Science's research, the most effective combination to relaxing dogs is to have them listen to classical music with a twist! The music is defined as classical music infused with ambient noise (human conversations, yipping dogs, crowing birdsetc).
Researches have joined forces with Hats Unlimited to develop a full music CD called Dreams for Dogs for $26(USD).
Or, in this economy, you could save some dough by having your pets around while having conversations with friends and tuning to a classical music station at the same time! Your call. ;)
